WILD  WOMEN

by Anny Gateley

celebrate WILD women. . .
ones who sit in gardens,
eating mangoes naked
with juice DRIPPING
down their chins.
ones who live alone
in cottages with LOTS of CATS
and take trips
to faraway places like Paris
with no money,
or place to stay.
and who sing
made up songs in public
JOYOUSLY and FREELY
and who take walks in the rain
wearing only a bathing suit,
and purple galoshes.
CELEBRATE them,
LOVE them,
and DARE to be them!
